He witnessed the court proceedings as a young student at Heidelberg University Law center and he said nothing or came forward with his first hand knowledge that the woman sitting before the court could not read nor write perhaps he was not so sure, since he did all the reading, she provided all the sex the young man needed.

The “Reader” is another movie with theme in the Holocaust, It is a 2008 drama based on the 1995 German novel by Bernhard Schlink. Michael Berg, in the early age played by David Kross, in later years and as a young lawyer played by Ralph Fiennes, meet a thirtyish tram conductor and both began to meet on regular basis for hours of sex and hours of reading the classics. First it was sex before reading and then it became reading before sex. In the short span of this unique relations several major books such as the Odyssey, War and Peace where read.

During the court hearing, law students in professor Rohl, a Holocaust survivors, were required to attend the court sessions which captivated all of Germany and one of the students became very agitated and went on for an extended period of time arguing that the Holocaust could not have taken place while the German people pretended they did not know about it. His arguments full of passion and logic confirming the fact there is NO way for Germans not to know what was happenings.

Millions of Jews where evicted from their homes, expelled from their jobs, their shops and business closed and shut down, and were herded in truck and bus loads to waiting train stations for the journey to their deaths.

With a propaganda like that of Hitler Germany where Jews were demonized on a daily basis, where the SS enticed and encourage neighbors and colleagues to shun their neighbors and chastised them for being Jewish, where families were separated, all of this could not happen without the German people knowing what was going on? One has to wonder what did the German knew? They must have known something horrible was going one, as they saw their neighbors hauled away and never return, certainly they did not go on an extended vacation. The smell of death was everywhere and if the Germans did not know then they had no excuses not to know since they all witnessed the ethnic cleansing of Jews from Germany and Nazi occupied Europe.

In Israel, the Jews on a daily basis, rob and steal land, evict Palestinians from their homes, poison their water wills, kill and slaughter their lives stocks, destroy their farms and crops, uproot their century old olive trees. Settlements on stolen Palestinian land dot the landscape, roads designated as “Jewish” only are all over the place traveled by Jews only. Armed settlers protected by the Israeli army as they go about throwing people and furniture out on the pretenses that Jews at one time owned these homes evicting scores of families from their homes in East Jerusalem. Of course all Jews forget the hundreds f thousands of Arab homes illegally occupied confiscated, by Israelis Jews. No need to wait for revisionist Jewish historian to tell them the Palestinians were forced out by terrorism and force of arms.

They glorify the Haganah and Irgun in such movies as Exodus where young immigrants take up arms to make a place for themselves in Palestine by forcing the indigenous people off the land. They are very proud of their Jewish army as it goes about waging war on Lebanon dumping over 2 million cluster bombs on civilians in the last 10 days of the Summer War on Lebanon of 06. They stand and watch as the Israeli army attack crowed Gaza with F-16s, F-15s, Apache, lighting the skies with phosphorous bombs that burns flesh and bones, destroying thousands of homes, scores of schools, hospitals and mosques.

They witness on a daily basis as millions of Palestinians stand in line waiting for hours sometimes for days at Israeli “gates of hell” masquerading as security checkpoints humiliating young and old. They know of mothers dying with their unborn babies as they wait for a young 18 years old soldier to finish his cigarette or a call to his girlfriend and make a life or death decision. They travel from all over the world to celebrate the modern day state of Israel with its army, its armed settlers who wage daily pogroms against the unarmed Palestinians civilians in Al-Khalil/Hebron and in almost all villages in Palestine.

They build monument celebrating killers and murders in Kiryat Arba with annual pilgrimage from Brooklyn and Shaker Heights. They celebrate and congratulate each other on the success of settlements farms established on stolen Arab land, green with stolen water. They come to swim and cool off in settlement’s public pools knowing well the Palestinians next door do not even have water to drink let alone fill a swimming pool and are dying of thirst.

They wage of war of silence and intimidation against human rights organizations and against Congress forcing the US Congress to deny the crimes committed by Israel on its War on Gaza, and making Congress an accomplic to Israeli war crimes. They go out of their way to dismiss even defame one of their own, Justice Goldstone who was the author of the UN report documenting Israeli war crimes in Gaza, with Shimon Peres the Israeli president calling Justice Goldstone a “small man”. I wonder how big of a man Shimon Peres the Nobel Peace Prize winner who is responsible for the killing of innocent civilians as they sought shelters at UN base camp.

The Jews of the world has always been very close to Israel especially after the 67 War and in the years since then have donated hundreds of billions of dollars to Israel to carry on with its occupations of the Palestinians. They donate hundreds of millions to armed criminal settlers movements knowing well what they do the Palestinians villages and farms. They donate tens of millions of dollars, money they make fleecing the poor in America so they can provide the necessary money for settlers to commit fraud and the forced take over of certain properties in East Jerusalem. They volunteers by the tens of thousands to serve in their Israeli army knowing well what this army and its Rabbis are telling the soldiers “show no mercy” and committing war crimes on a daily basis.

If the Germans knew or should have known and are found guilty in perpetuity as charged with crimes against the Jewish people then one can say about the Jews of today, whose actions and deeds are no less than those of the Germans of yesteryear’s. If the Germans knew, then the Jews should know, and they know yet remain all too silent.

Ps. The Holocaust as a historical event is the source and theme of hundreds of movies and novels, perhaps more than any single historical event. One only need to” Google” to get a list that goes on and on. Perhaps they all telling us something we did not know.
