Every year and for the last several years and without failings, Islamist Jihadist (Alqaeda), Taliban and Shiite Militias go crazy and bezerk days prior to the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramada with extensive terrorists campaign that kills thousands of innocent people with the killing and murder campaign intensifying during the month of Ramadan.
For the likes of terrorist organizations such as Alqaeda, Shiite militias and the Taliban who presumably read the Holy Quran they should know that no killings, no murder, no fighting should take place during the holy month of Ramadan, yet these “Islamist Jihadists” go on with their killing machine bringing death and destruction to communities all across Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan and lately in Yemen, in Somalia.
I guess I could never understand the purpose of loading a truck with explosives and detonating in public areas to cause maximum damage such at the tragic events which took place last year few days before the start of Ramadan in Iraq when two trucks laden with high explosives exploded near the Foreign and Finance ministries in Baghdad killing 97 innocent people and injuring 585.
Of course we could never know if the killers and murders are members of the Alqaeda, members of the Iraqi police and security forces or members of militant Shiite groups. All we know that they killed 97 innocent people and injured 585. A cold-blooded murder by any standard.
The Islamist Jihadists whether Sunnis or Shiites do not hesitate to take their killings to public markets, to mosques and places of worships where innocent praying people are blown to pieces as they kneel in prayers seeking forgiveness and reciting the Holy Quran.These cold-blooded murders take place not only in Iraq but in Pakistan and Afghanistan as well. Tens of thousands of innocent Muslims and worshipers were killed and murdered that way.
When the America-Israeli Zionist Jew Rabbi Baruch Goldstein ( a hero to many among the Jewish community in the US) killed 29 and injuring scores of worshipers in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, Muslims all over the world went to the streets to demonstrate the cold blooded murder of Muslim worshipers by a Zionist Jew yet the same Muslims do not go out to the streets of Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo, Kuwait, Tehran, Islamabad or Kabul to demonstrate against those Muslims who on a daily and weekly basis commit similar acts of infamy not less than the cold blooded murder committed by Rabbi Baruch Goldstein.It is something to think about.
Why the silence when the cold-blooded murders are “members” of the faith? Why the silence in the mosques, in schools, in homes, in coffee shops why the community of Muslims are silent and do not challenge these cold blooded murders who, we with our silence and our indifference allowed them to hijack Islam and speak in our names, why?
These cold blooded murders whether in Iraq, in Lebanon, Pakistan or Afghanistan or Yemen could not do what they do without the financial support of some rich person or Muslims or financially contribute to the killings of innocent Muslims. These cold blooded murders could not commit these crimes without the knowledge of someone or some families since the suicide bombers are the children of someone.
It is neither the job nor the duty of the US, Europe to fight terrorism. This is the people’s fight, the fight of every Muslim who believes in the Holy Quran and it’s teaching and respect for human life. It is the duty of every parents, brother or sister, cousins, teachers, follow workers and colleagues, it the duty of every Imam as they stand up and give Friday sermon to speak out loud and clear against these senseless acts of cold blooded murder. It is the duty and responsibility of every Imam to make sure the mosque where they preach and lead the prayers does not become a recruiting fields and corners for these killers and murders and it is their responsibility to dispel the notion of Allah’s promise of 70 virgins to those who commit suicide and kill with them scores of innocent people. The fight of terrorists and terrorism is our fight, the fight of every Muslim community from Los Angeles to Washington to Paris, to Berlin, to London to Amsterdam to Rabat, to Khartoum to Cairo to Riyadh to Doha to Baghdad, Tehran, Jakarta and Karachi and Kaula Lumpur.If we are to honor the Holy Quran then we must stand up to these cold-blooded murderers amongst us.
