These days, every one is jumping on Barack Obama for words “two word” the Reverend Jeremiah Wright said during one of his sermons. It seems 30 years of sermons and service to his Trinity United Church in Chicago South Side are erased and deleted and demands for apologies from both Barack Obama and the Reverend Wright are filling the newspapers and the airwaves because Reverend Wright “damned America” for 400 years of slavery and human rights abuse, not to mentions the hundreds of millions perished in slavery and the hundreds if not thousands lynched by White angry mobs, let alone the humiliation of millions of Blacks had to endure for hundreds of years and remain today.
