Not a penny for the Palestinian Authority.

12 05 2011

It seems Israel and since Oslo got used to the idea that someone else pays for its continuing Jewish Occupation and this someone is the PLO/PA. Israel should not expect to have its cake and eats it too. Time for Israel to pay for its own Jewish Occupation.

Salam Fayyad, the prime minister of the Palestinian Authority sent an urgent appeal to the Arab countries (Gulf) seeking urgent financial help to the Palestinian Authority to enable it to pay the salaries of 155,000 employees. If Israel wants to keep its Occupation, let it pay for it. Read the rest of this entry »

Israel vs Palestine; them and us

10 05 2011

As Israel celebrate its 63rd anniversary, I could not help but compare the Zionist Israeli leadership to that of the Palestinian leadership past (Hajj Amin Husaini, Ahmed Shukairi and Yasser Arafat) and present (Abbas & Company) and what each achieved for their people in over 100 years of conflict?  While one celebrate a nation, strong as ever (Peres) the other is wondering how to meet the current payroll? While one celebrates a nation with an army and institutions, the other promises the people a “virtual” state with none of the prerequisites of a modern nation state. While one talks of expanding and solidifying the Jewish Occupation, the other talks of reviving the PLO and restructuring the Palestine National Congress as if any one gives a damn about the PLO or its PNC. Hamas, Fatah; unfit to lead, unfit to manage liberation and freedom.

3 05 2011

In few hours in Cairo and in the presence of Arab and international guests, both Mahmoud Abbas as head of Fatah and Khaled Mishal as head of Hamas will sign and execute the “ Cairo reconciliation agreement” ending the feudal feud between the two brothers, they will kiss, shake hand and forget all the crimes both committed against Palestine and the people. Not so sure if Oslo Abbas and Ramallah PA can survive till September without funding from Israel, the US and EC! Read the rest of this entry »

Why Hamas, but not Likud and Yisrael Beituna?

29 04 2011

I do not understand why Israel, the US, EC and some Arab countries insist on Hamas, a political party recognizing Israel, when Likud, Yisrael Beituna and Shas not only failed to ratify Oslo, but also refuse to recognize the PLO and the Palestinian State? It makes no sense, unless of course there is a different standard, one for Jews and one for Arabs. Read the rest of this entry »

Hamas and Fatah; Reconciliation or Escape Forward!

27 04 2011

The news coming out of Cairo in the last hours are very surprising to every one.  Most of all to Bibi Netanyahu who gave Mahmoud Abbas a choice, either peace with Israel or reconciliation with Hamas and who ordered his security forces to put more squeeze on Gaza. Bibi forgetting that Mahmoud Abbas has been knocking on the doors of Israel and begging for peace with or without Hamas for over 20 years and there was one answer, the Jewish Occupation and expansion of Jewish settlement colonies more important than peace with the Palestinians. Mahmoud Abbas and his “Magic Kingdom”.

23 04 2011

It seems Mahmoud Abbas is perpetuating the same lies, the same fraud his predecessor did for over 30 years as the leader of the PLO and Fatah. Of course there was never liberation, there was never institution building, there was never a plan for the return of the refugees. The only plan Arafat had up his sleeve is to perpetuate the lies that is the PLO and perpetuate a “revolution” that never was, and of course we know the true and real achievement of Arafat and the PLO, Oslo, with Arafat and his PLO becoming the manager of the Jewish Occupation. Arafat was only too happy to have his “red carpet” his “honor guards” to salute his arrival and departure in Ramallah, of course after obtaining permission from a “private in the Israeli Army. The PLO never considered or cared about the millions remaining under Jewish Occupation and the millions in the Diaspora as refugees. Read the rest of this entry »
