Do not know why every one from President Obama, to Dennis Ross, to Bibi Netanyahu to Nancy Pelosi, to Senator Lieberman to Ron Prosor to Glen Beck, to AIPAC, to Anti-Defamation League to Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish American Organization, all are going out of whack for the upcoming September vote on a Palestinian State at the UN. As was expected President Barack Obama’s speech this weekend at AIPAC was an unconditional surrender to AIPAC, to Bibi Netanyahu and Israel. He gave up the US presidency in favor of his candidacy for re-election.
Barak Obama did not come to AIPAC to convince the American Jewish leaders and community and argue the case of the US resolve and leadership in settling the Middle East conflict based on international laws and international conventions, a conflict that has cost the US and its tax payers so dearly. The Arabs and specially the Palestinians should not hold their breath in anticipations of the scheduled speech President Barack Obama plans to give today, Thursday. When it comes to the Middle East, Mr. Obama does not formulate the policy, it is dictated to him as the case with previous presidents.
