Other than Israel and the US, no group or organizations or countries did more damage to the Palestinian cause of liberation and freedom than the incompetent, corrupt and reckless Palestinian leadership past and present. In few hours in Cairo and in the presence of Arab and international guests, both Mahmoud Abbas as head of Fatah and Khaled Mishal as head of Hamas will sign and execute the “ Cairo reconciliation agreement” ending the feudal feud between the two brothers, they will kiss, shake hand and forget all the crimes both committed against Palestine and the people. I do not understand why Israel, the US, EC and some Arab countries insist on Hamas, a political party recognizing Israel, when Likud, Yisrael Beituna and Shas not only failed to ratify Oslo, but also refuse to recognize the PLO and the Palestinian State? The news coming out of Cairo in the last hours are very surprising to every one. Most of all to Bibi Netanyahu who gave Mahmoud Abbas a choice, either peace with Israel or reconciliation with Hamas and who ordered his security forces to put more squeeze on Gaza. Bibi forgetting that Mahmoud Abbas has been knocking on the doors of Israel and begging for peace with or without Hamas for over 20 years and there was one answer, the Jewish Occupation and expansion of Jewish settlement colonies more important than peace with the Palestinians. No need to talk about Israel’s savage ad criminal occupation, a topic I will continue to address and talk about. Here I am addressing what is going on in Gaza. I tried to be “politically correct” but watching what is going on in Gaza I chose to be straightforward. The political and military leadership of both Hamas and Islamic Jihad are reckless and stupid. Reckless with the lives of the people of Gaza, holding 1.5 million hostage to stupid, incompetent, inept and unqualified operational leadership of Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigade and Al-Quds Brigade. Watching these masked young men talk as if they are out to destroy Israel and threatening Israel with retaliations that makes the “earth shake” qualify these people and the spokesman “Abu-Obeidah” to be locked up in mental institutions danger to themselves and the millions around them. Where is the hell Hamas political leadership from all of this? And why it allowed reckless field commanders to run loose? We are sick and tired from the military and political rhetoric out of Gaza.
