President Barack Obama’s speech at Cairo University on June 4^th will go down in history as one of the best in eloquence, sincerity, and hope ever given by a US president and will have a far reaching impact not only in the Muslim world but the world at large. The speech was addressed to the Jews of the world as much it addressed the Muslim world. In his speech President Obama proved once more that he is a true friend of the Jews.

For the first time ever in modern history does a US sitting president dare or have the courage to speak out and tells it like it is. This is the first time for a US sitting president to put America’s interest first ahead of Israel and its powerful community of lobbyists, philanthropists and army of organizations dedicated to undermine America’s interest with “Israel First” and dedicated to stifling the free and honest debate on the Middle East that perpetuated the conflict and lead to many wars and the death of tens of thousands of Jews and Arabs. But for the selfish interest of the American Jewish leadership and community peace in the Middle East could have been achieved long time saving America some $120 Billions in unwarranted aid to the Jewish settlers state of Israel, and saving thousands of American lives simply wasted as a direct result of this priority.

True, President Obama invoked verses from the Holy Quran, invoked the glory history of Islam that contributed much to world civilizations. It is also true that President Obama also invoked for the first time by a US sitting president the Palestinians narratives of exiles, disposition and suffering at the hand of the Jewish Occupation. However President Obama dared to challenge the Jews of the world especially Israelis and American Jews that their history of suffering and misfortunes must not be at the expense of others, that their suffering does not justify the humiliations and subjecations of other people and denials of the rights of others to live in freedom, dignity and have same hope and security as that of Jews and Israelis.

I am sure and as expected, President Obama will face a daunting task of challenges and incitement of fear and hate by the evil forces of Zionists and self serving Evangelical Christians that made the continued Jewish Occupation as part of the Holy Bible narratives and their way to salvation and of course the end of the world. President Obama will for sure face a very powerful, well funded Jewish Lobby that takes no prisoners with powerful friends and hires on Capital Hill among large members of both US Senate and House of Representatives who will side with AIPAC rather than on the side of America and the American President, and will challenge President Obama on both domestic  and foreign policies and are waiting for the phone to ring to take instructions from the chief executive of AIPAC and its allies within the American Jewish community. This is the same community and group that made peace between Israel and the Palestinians, between Israel and the Arabs impossible. This is the same community that gave us Dennis Ross, Martin Indyke and Elliot Abrams as the American Jewish Godfathers of Jewish Settlements in the Occupied West Bank and Gaza. It is these American Jewish policy makers who took us from the total and absolute “ illegality” of the Jewish Settlements under the Geneva Convention to “questionable” illegality, to” unhelpful” to peace with the “needs for natural growth” through the importation of Jewish settlers from within Israel and the US and other Jewish communities around the world. They are the ones who made a mockery out of Oslo and out of the Road Map that made any progress almost impossible. The Road Map as designed by Elliot Abram made sure that the Palestinians could never meet any threshold of commitments thus giving Israel the excuses to expand settlements, expropriate more and more Palestinian lands, setting up more and more security checkpoints that made life an absolute hell for all of the Palestinians with the exception of the Palestinian Authority 3,000 or so VIPs. The Zionist agenda was supreme to these American Jewish policy makers.

By addressing the issue of Jewish Settlements short of declaring them absolutely illegal and in contravention of international law, and short of declaring an end to the Jewish Occupation that began on June 5, 1967, President Obama made it clear to Israel and its friends in the US that the price for peace will be an end to the Occupation, an end to the settlements and the creation of a Palestinian state side by side next to Israel and of course West of the Jordan River.

President Obama also made it clear that an open united Jerusalem as the shared capital of both Israel and Palestine is a perquisite for peace, for the benefits of community of worshipers from around the globe open and free to Jews, to Christians and to Muslims.

Given the fact that Israel and its military and Jewish settlers occupation of what remains of Palestine is a domestic issue subject to blackmail from Congress and the more than a couple of dozen American Jewish organizations such as AIPAC, ADL, American Jewish Congress, Zionist Organization of America, Campus Watch, Camera, Obama Monitoring Group, and given the fact that that the Israeli Occupiers always had the upper hand through the presence of military force, through the presence of criminal trespassing  armed thugs at every hill top, it is absolutely urgent for the US to push for a UN Security Council resolution with unanimous vote placing the entire Occupied Territories including Occupied East Jerusalem under a UN Mandate/Trusteeship with a time line of two years to bring about an absolute end to total military and settlers occupation of the West Bank and Gaza ( yes Gaza remains an Israeli Occupied Territory since Israel have total and absolute control over Gaza, its access to the seas, to international borders to its waters and skies). President Obama to succeed he must put the Occupied Territories and all that related to outside the reach of Congress and its masters at AIPAC.

To correspond with this bold step, Israel must under the supervision of a UN, not the   US since Congress and AIPAC will always have total control of actions and policies of US officials subjecting them to harassment and hearing on Capital Hill and work with Israel on removing its military camps and remove the entire community settlers of trespassers and thieves, leaving no mines, no cluster bombs, no booby traps, no nuclear waste, and no toxic waste. If Israel can force the exiles of some 750,000 Palestinians and uprooting from their own homes, then Israel is capable of removing its own thieves and trespassers. I am sure for the right price they will leave the Promised Land left behind in Ramallah and Nablus.

For the Palestinians, both under Occupation and the Diaspora it is necessary to organize and settle on a negotiating team that can take over from the corrupt, incompetent, inept, self serving Oslo Team that has so much vested financial and economic interest in the continued Jewish occupation, thus putting an end to a monopoly of failures and selling out to the Occupation by the PLO and Palestinian Authority. The new team of professional experts in all field from around the world should replace Mahmoud Abbas, Ahmed Qurai, Saeb Euraikat, Yaser Abed-Rabou, certainly replace Hamas, Fatah and the PLO. The Palestinians deserve the competent and professional negotiating team denied to them by Yasser Arafat, by Mahmoud Abbas and Ahmed Qurai, and yes, let the Palestinians take the challenge of President Obama and build a state that can be model to others states in terms of quality of public service, roads, hospitals, schools and universities, vocational schools, with accountability and transparency, respect for human rights with more schools than jails, with no criminal abuse of power and fear of preventive security forces, a nation that is not hostage to the corrupt culture of Fatah or Hamas, certainly of the PLO, and yes, a nation that can live with in peace with Israel.
