I was not surprised to read in the New York Times Magazine of March 23, 2008 that the “migaminister” of Cornerstone Church of San Antonio, Texas the Reverend John Hagee donated millions of dollars to fly in 25,000 Russian “Jewish” immigrant to Israel to take their place and settle in the Palestinian territory and of course the join the largest Jewish terrorist organization in the world, the IDF. These days, every one is jumping on Barack Obama for words “two word” the Reverend Jeremiah Wright said during one of his sermons. It seems 30 years of sermons and service to his Trinity United Church in Chicago South Side are erased and deleted and demands for apologies from both Barack Obama and the Reverend Wright are filling the newspapers and the airwaves because Reverend Wright “damned America” for 400 years of slavery and human rights abuse, not to mentions the hundreds of millions perished in slavery and the hundreds if not thousands lynched by White angry mobs, let alone the humiliation of millions of Blacks had to endure for hundreds of years and remain today. At one time and for a long time, I always believed in the possibility of peace between Israel and the Palestinians based on a two state solution along the 67 borders with Jerusalem as a shared and open city. No more.
Like millions of Palestinians under occupation and millions of Palestinians in exile, I see the possibilities of a two state solution gone for ever. Read the rest of this entry »
