Ariel Sharon went on to become the Israeli Prime Minister to continue with his criminal history as a terrorists and mass murder. Elie Hobeika of the Lebanese Forces went on to become a key minister in Lebanon with the support of the late Hafiz Assad. Others who were involved became trusted financial advisors for Arafat and his wife Suha. Of course Arafat and his PLO simply turned his back to the people and never bothered to open an inquiry let alone file civil and criminal charges against governments and individuals who committed such a heinous crime.
