Jewish Voice For Peace should also meet a Palestinian Voice For Peace

There are so many Jews, including Israelis who share with many Palestinians the need to have historic reconciliations that can bring about an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict. Both side know the outline of such an agreement yet Israeli leaders and beyond them the Zionists within the American Administration are pushing for a solution based on a permanent Israeli Occupation with Palestinians living in “reservations” surrounded by settlements with access controlled by the Israeli army and armed Jewish settlers. No one will forget

Abu Abed, 84, returned recently to what remains of Hittin, the former Arab village in northern Israel where he was born. He fled with his family in 1948.It is so difficult to understand the Zionists arguments and calls for Palestinian exiles simply to walk away and forget their homes and properties in what is now Israel.The Zionists claimed Palestine after some 2,500 years of a very short presence in Palestine. The Jews and rightly so claimed back their properties stolen and confiscated by the German Nazis. The Palestinians should have no lesser rights than to claim back their own properties stolen and confiscated in Palestine.
